Explanations and All That Crap

Hello. I'm Roger, a 16 year-old student. I've created this blog to keep track of my summer, mostly for the fact that I have an atrocious memory, but also because I thought the wide-open internet may want stories of bravery, courage, hope, and band camp. Mostly band camp. But anyway, a little bit about me before we begin!

• I'm a (failing) musician. I'm working on an album (that will never see the light of day). It's going to be (anything but) awesome!
• After summer, I'll be starting (to fail out of) my senior year of high school.
• I enjoy video games, and my all-time favourite has been Oblivion. (Nothing sarcastic to say here)
• I tried out (but obviously was not selected) for the Voice!
• I plan on majoring in music after high school, but am still trying to choose a college. (Commitment issues)
• Ladies (don't) love me.
• I play (way too many) instruments: Tuba, Guitar, Bass, Didgeridoo, Ocarina, Harmonica, Piano, and (very small amounts of) Trumpet!
• My pride and joy is my Epiphone Emperor II Joe Pass Signature guitar. It's a hollow-body electric, and one of the most beautiful guitars I've (tried to) play.
• I'm (extremely) bored of doing this list, so it's over now. 

Hopefully that can give you all an overview of who I am, and what my interests are! I'm sure we'll get to know each other more as the summer goes by.

So, to start off my summer, my phone was lost/stolen. Replacing it is going to cost my about $200, and it'll have to be done before the end of July. Being the lazy guy that I am, I chose to blog instead. So whenever you read this, remember that I'm sacrificing my own connectivity and social well-being so that you can read about what I've done this summer.

Anyway, I need to get back to working the kinks out of my blog design. Thanks for reading, and I'll try to update soon. Ciao!
